Johnny Depp's Text Messages To Assitant Reportedly Read Out In Court; Mentions The Actor Demanded Drugs
The Pirates of Caribbean actor Johnny Depp has filed a lawsuit against a British Publication for undermining his image. The Publication had filed a story calling Johnny Depp a 'wife-beater' and mentioned that he beat up his wife Amber Heard. Now, the actor has filed a case against the publication and a court session took place recently. In the session before the trial, as per reports, Johnny Depp's messages to his assistant were readout. Reportedly, the actor demanded of drugs while filming was in Australia.

As per Mirror.co.uk, the exchange between Johnny Depp and his assistant Nathan Holmes was something like this - Depp: "We should have more happy pills - can you?” To this, Holmes replied affirmatively. Lawyer Adam Wolanski also mentioned that Depp made a demand for cocaine as well. Depp reportedly messaged to his assistant, "need more whitey stuff ASAP" and the lawyer feels that the white stuff in this message is not but cocaine. This incident is said to have taken place a few days before he allegedly bit up Amber Heard as claimed by the actress, say the reports.

However, Depp's lawyers had rubbished the arguments and said that his text messages have nothing to do with the case against the publication. Depp was also accused of deliberately not revealing the text messages, however, in his defence, his lawyers said, "The defendants claim, wrongly, that Mr Depp has withheld this document because it is ‘profoundly damaging to his case’; their implied accusation being that he withheld it deliberately. This is untrue. First, the claimant has already provided this document in the US libel proceedings," as reported by mirror.co.uk.
